Safety Testing

One of the areas that European directives requires to test is product safety.

Our accredited electrical safety testing portfolio includes the following standards:

• IEC/EN 61010-1 (measurement, control and Laboratory) standard
• IEC/EN 62368-1 audio/video, information and communication technology equipment standard
• IEC/EN 62368-3 standard that contains requirements for devices that use for their power supply communication ports and cables, such as PoE devices

These can be performed as part of official testing for regulatory requirements or as part of your pre-evaluation during the product development process.

NRTL

Eurofins Electrical and Electronic Testing NA is a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) recognized by OSHA (American Occupational Safety and Health Administration).

This means that based on our accredited testing, you can apply for Eurofins Electrical and Electronic Testing NA NRTL certification for the US and Canadian market.

Use the long experience we have from working with several safety standards, to test and verify the safety of your product.

CBTL

Eurofins Electric & Electronics Finland is part of the IECEE CB Scheme as a CB Test Laboratory (CBTL) for electrical safety. The scheme operates in over 50 countries. CB certificate helps manufacturers gain access to international markets without having to go through multiple certification processes in each country while reducing the time and costs associated with certification and regulatory processes.

Our CBTL testing scope covers 12 standards including:

• IEC 62368-1
• IEC 62368-3
• IEC 61010-1
• IEC 60601-1
