The extent and need for testing is depending on the site, but the most common parameters with internationally standardized tests are:
Acid generation potential Evaluation (ABA-tests)
- Neutralisation potential (NP), SFS-EN 15875
- Acid potential (AP), total sulphur and sulfidic sulphur
- Total carbon and carbonate carbon

Leaching behaviour tests

Chemical characteristics of sample with weak extractions
