Fire Safety Statements and Classifications
Fire safety statements and expert surveys are required for launching products, obtaining approvals and maintenance.
The fire safety requirement is an authority requirement considered to have been fulfilled if the building is designed and constructed in compliance with the fire classes stated in the National Building Code of Finland, section E. The building can also be designed and constructed based on the assumed developing of fire.

It may be based on the direct field of application (DIAP) rules given in the relevant test standard or, in addition, the extended application (EXAP) rules of the respective EXAP-standard valid for the intended end use applications.
